A story from antiquity. A loyal and honorable general, betrayed by the empire he served. Enslaved for an eternity behind shadowed walls, only to find the strength to rise again in the center of madness. Trained to be a warrior, raised towards enlightenment by the pure flames of hatred, he returns to enact his vengeance.

Creativity has always been my mantra, thus the realization of new and creative worlds and characters has always been my greatest goal, which is why I was drawn to both the field of animation and George Lucas's creative masterpiece, "Star Wars."

The original "Imperial Rage", created in 2000 as a two week Computer 1 animation project, was my personal homage to this great original universe. Out of a whim, I submitted the film to www.theforce.net's Fan Film Theater where, to my suprise, it became quite famous.

The original concept for the film, was a parody from the combination of Star Wars and the popular film Gladiator. Thus, a general becomes a slave, becomes a jedi... But as the story etched into my mind, it became less parody and more off a darker reality. Building on that, the great swell of enthusiastic responses I received, all combined with a bit of shame over the poor quality of the film prompted me to recreate “Imperial Rage” from the ground up. Utilizing all that I have learned in the last two years, I have forged “Imperial Rage EX” to stand as a suitable tribute to my creative abilities and the greatness of the Star Wars Universe.
